Michael Benson

I am an experienced teacher and after gaining a teaching qualification, I obtained a Diploma of Advanced Study in Education and became an accredited trainer in Life Skills, Stress Management, team building, training trainers, and time management.

I have worked extensively within the Education System where I gained a thorough understanding of how large public service organisations work and the challenges they face. Having been a successful head teacher I became a Local Education Authority Phase Adviser and worked on a range of projects at County level, all of which included managing change. I am an inspector in both the maintained and independent sectors and an independent education consultant.

The skills I use for the independent audit of performance and the design of action plans are directly relevant to the challenges that many companies face.

I have extensive consultancy experience in both the public and commercial sectors, including coaching and developing leadership programmes with senior managers and programmes that facilitate the introduction of particular changes or developments that a client needs to make in their work.
